A CONVERSATION WITH THE LAST WHITE BUFFALO
A choreography which was designed and performed on sand dunes for film is adapted site-specifically in the context of the OK, bringing an exterior texture and atmosphere into four walls. Movement researchers Josseline Black and Anni Taskula discover glyphs of the generative process by which simple impulses result in complex images. Using “the shadow”, “the echo”, and “the reflection”, the piece integrates dance, visuals, and film to immerse the viewer in a kind of communicative ancient logic which questions structures of evolution and duality.
