About Mika:
Mika (Mihaela Kavdanska, BG/RO/AT) works as a certified Yoga teacher, based in Linz, with 10 years of experience and 18 years of personal yoga practice. She holds a 500 E-RYT Yoga Alliance International certification in Hatha Yoga (with a focus on Ashtanga Yoga), Vinyasa Flow, Yin & Restorative Yoga, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Mantra Chanting, and Meditation. Currently she teaches regular classes at Ashtanga Yoga Linz, Sonnendeck and Yoga Academy Romania. She offers individual classes, courses for beginners, workshops and retreats. She regularly returns to India to practice with Vijay Kumar (Ashtanga Saadhana Shala, Mysore), Dr. Muthy BP (CHITANYA YOGA KENDRA, Mysore), Sanjeev Dutta (OM Yoga Shala, Goa). Over the years, Mika attended workshops and retreats with Ty Landrum, Andrew Eppler, Adam Keen, Guy Donahaye, Kathy Cooper, Boris Gueorguiev, Irene Zaarour, Joey Paz, Bryce Delbridge, and others. Mika's first encounter with Vipassana meditation, as taught by S.N. Goenka, took place in 2008 and remains a part of her practice to this day. 

Since the late 90's Mihaela Kavdanska has been working in the field of Media and Performance Art as a visual artist, creative director, researcher and teacher, co-founder of a creative studio and a festival, art collectives, NGOs; supporting various artists as a cultural manager and art producer. Her numerous personal and collaborative projects have been shown, performed and awarded in various museums, galleries, public spaces, theatres and festivals in Europe, USA and Asia.
