Der linzer Def Ill alias Governor General Rugged ist durch zahlreiche Features und hunderte gespielte Shows nicht nur Österreichern ein Begriff. Intelligente, kontroverse und humorvolle Texte, gemischt mit absolut qualitativer Dopeness ergeben einen Sound, der so in Österreich bisher nicht existierte und auch über die eigenen Landesgrenzen hinaus bereits für sehr viel Begeisterung sorgte. Sein Debutalbum „Der rote Faden" wurde 2006 im Eigenvertrieb released und ist nun auch als "Best Of Der Rote Faden" auf Vinyl erhätlich. Produziert wurde das gute Stück von niemand Geringeren als den Producergrößen des österreichischen Undergrounds: Loco, Digga Mindz, Mr. Tuzzaud und ihm selbst.
Außerdem folgt in Kürze das von Headz lang erwartete Mixtape „I gib kan Fick" auf dem der Name Programm ist, welches auf dem eigens gegründeten Label „Petschonen Records" erscheinen wird. Spätestens seit der Vereinigung von Def Ill und Digga Mindz als Ill Mindz dürfte auch den letzten Skeptikern klar geworden sein: „Real recognize Real!"

Kinetical gained his first onstage-experience as a Jungle and Drum'n'Bass MC. What started as a funthing for the one or the other free drink got an addiction soon, and freestyles became written lyrics. This lyrics deal with topics that affect the young artist in his everyday life, and with the microcosm "Reggae" he found a foundation that covers more different moods than most audiences might think. Ruff party-bangers in a jump up-dancehall style are to find is his repertoire as well as socially critical tunes in the tradition of Roots-Reggae, and even classical Lovesongs, where his singing voice and catchy melodies find their place. The fruits ripe in years of practicing and playing live: in the meantime Kinetical looks back on shows all over Europe. In the beginning the beat came directly from the (Jamaican import-) vinyl single: Rhythms (or Riddims), which are acclaimed by dancehallfans on soundsystem-sessions around the globe every day, used to be the musical backing for Kiney's chants. With the Basic Sound Band he finally found a backing Band which interprets those Riddims live - live, that means analog & direct, but first and foremost with Soul. This Soul can be felt in the music, it creates a vibe on stage which leads this combination to heigher heights truly.
