In this frame, ‘artistic’ is understood broadly as ‘semi-formal’, ‘unconventional’ or ‘uncomputable’ habits. The discussion begins by presenting an early project for appropriating technical artefacts such as low-level documentation and scientific papers by applying artistic strategies. During the conversation, civil societies, arts, and technologies are distinct categories that outline each sociopolitical embedding. Participants are invited to share (also loosely) related examples and experiences of activating artistic stances outside of arts' contexts.
