Werner Puntigam (A) und Matchume Zango (MZ) / Contemporary Afro-European Soundscapes.

Den österreichischen Posaunisten Werner Puntigam und Matchume Zango, einer der international aktivsten mosambikanischen Musiker verbindet eine bereits langjährige Zusammenarbeit sowohl in Afrika als auch in Europa. Die Lust und Neugier mit unkonventionellen Besetzungen neue zeitgemäße Musik zwischen Traditionellem und Urbanem zu kreieren resultierte in ihrem Duo-Projekt, mit dem sie "contemporary Afro-European soundscapes" kreieren (zu hören auch auf der aktuellen CD "Maputo"), wobei ihr "Haupt-Ohrenmerk" der gleichberechtigten Einbringung ihrer musikalischen Wurzeln aus dem individuellen kulturellen Background heraus gilt.
