Back in the Radicale Centrale. Hello, ich habe schon meinen nächsten Gast. Er, I'm Honor. I know that. It's a little bit difficult with me with the microphone because sometimes I don't know if I'm going to give or to take it. And Honor, I'm going to ask you about the work that you are exposing here on AzElectronica and here under Constuni and the name is gombok in space yes it's a um it's called gombok in space it's a video installation um actually this is a cooperation work that i did with two of my friends um they're also they moved here with me from Turkey from Istanbul and they study in Angavante one of them Gökçe Göbut she studies experimental game cultures in Angavante master program and Neslihan Yakut is a writer who also studies in Angavante creative writing. So how we realized this project, so there is this concept of in Mesopotamia in the past there is this concept of lovers battle. So there is this nomad poets, and they travel between villages in Anatolia and they sing their songs with saz, you know this. And when there are two poets in one village, they have a battle. So it's basically a call and response technique that we are doing but we are doing you know one of us does a work and then we respond to that like this lovers these poets so uh interactive work yeah i know it is not interactive work, but how it was created, that I played in Angavanta Festival, Gökçe's game last year, and this experimental game, I was amazed and I wanted to do something with it, right? And I played it, it was a very interesting experience and uh i played it a couple of times i record screen recorded and i cut a short out of it short movie out of it like four four minutes five minutes short we have some pictures also yeah i think so yeah do we have some pictures also that we can show and that we have also idea from what honor is talking about i think we have some pictures also that we can show? And that we have also idea from what Honor is talking about? I think we have something in the cloud. Yeah, look at it. Okay, cool. Yeah. So, and then I cut this short out of the game. And actually it is about the mobility of the body. So the body in the game, the avatar in the game, is this geometrical shape called Gombok. So what is special about it, Gombok is a shape that only has one stable point that if you roll it, it will always stand in the same point, in one position. And I found it very interesting because I've been working on since I arrived in Austria about the freedom of mobility and body related to space. And after I cut this, we also with Gökçe, also the other side of the, there are two screens other side is the same visuals projecting on the artists like game artists body right so using them in the same frame and together it's like I put the body of the like the avatar and the body of the artists in dialogue right and how it's an installation, it's also, we got the 3D print of this avatar, this shape, and I placed it in front of the projector. So if you look, there is one small ball in the middle down, right? So that is projecting on the on the 3d print so in so yeah so you see the yes yeah so I wanted to bring the body in the video to the space the exhibition space and because it's a stable it's a 3d print right it's a stable uh existence but projecting this when it moves you know it makes this pattern so this pattern reflects to the the object itself so we see a stable uh body but in an illusion of movement on it yeah and I thinking about like I'm a very very bad gas given in do you want something to drink I'm sorry you want to water or something no and was it today your Vinny sash so the opening or how long is this going to be exposed, like just Ars Electronica or longer or? No, it will be only in Ars Electronica, so until 8, like on Sunday evening, I will take it off, yes. Okay. So if everybody wants to see it, it's from which time to which time you can see it here? Also bitte, verges Projektor funktioniert. Ja, wirklich cool, also bitte nicht vergessen. Keine Ahnung, aber mittlerweile sage ich, I thank you so much for your time and thank you so much, I hope you have fun on this Ars Electronica Festival. It's amazing. I'm meeting new people and new experiences einmal so going to try to after to take a look about everywhere so and first of all i think so much for your time and enjoy your first thank you for in my und liebe leute wie geht's euch bibi und bronco sei sie jetzt schon aus der pusten oder nur zur info wir sagen gerade wir machen gerade live tv herzlich willkommen im live tv Wir sind gerade im Live-TV. Herzlich Willkommen im Live-TV. In der Chapel of City Voices. Chapel of City Voices. Wir versuchen hier etwas zu finden. Es ist hier viel los. Wir versuchen herauszufinden, was passiert. here and we're trying to find out what is happening. This is Chas Gervan and he's not the leader of but the guide of this chapel we are seeing here. This chapel is based in the pop-up store in Linz. For how long? It's still the end of September till 28th. Okay, what's your thing here? Can you tell us what this is about? What do we see here? What can we experience? That's a lot of questions. First thing, this is a space to be. So you can just come here, relax, get in discussion, get in dialogue. This is thought as a place where I thought enough of identity politics. You do this, Iq be as in so and how can we create a space where people can get into self-conscious kind of games or involve themselves or have just a place to sleep sometimes because you don't want to sleep with your boyfriend or girlfriend or partner or mother or you don't have a place that's the real necessity so I can come here to sleep when I'm a little tired of this live performance today for example I can come for a quick nap you can when the when we need a little break that's a perfect yeah it's a perfect place to recreate it's a breakout room I want to discover everything in this room shut, shut this a little bit. We... There's so much going on. There's so much going on. Maybe we start in direction of the... The entrance. Yes, that's probably the best way to start. So first of all, we came here and we took off our shoes because we want to respect this very nice place. Yeah. And I want to start this very nice place. Yeah. And I want to start here, in this corner. In English German? Yes. I see a lot of questions here. You see questions? Ah, there are the questions. One question. It's not a lot of questions. Yeah, but I mean in this corner I see a question. What is the status of trans? What is the status of trans? So this place I set up like more like a chapel Was ist der Zustand von Trance? Let's do a game. Let's make a game. Okay, then let's start with a short game, which you get not visible. So when you come in, as you said, it says pick me up and start playing. If I'm not here, you can always pick this up. And these are the basic questions. Okay. So, do you read them out loud? I read it out loud. Bronco Clemens. That's a tricky question. It's more who are you? And it can be an imagination. It doesn't have to be an identity given. So when people ask me like you're Southside, who are you? And I'm like, I'm, I don't know, colorful, dressed person in a body who is all the time looking for transformation. Well, I'm looking who is all the time looking for transformation. Well, I'm looking for transformation all the time. That's true. And I always live through a little transformation when I put on these clothes. It's like a uniform. And I'm in a certain mission when I'm in this attire. So that's a different identity I guess to my daily life identity but on the other side it's also not. So now that you said about clothes and this is how the game actually works. If I'm dead then I know where things actually are. So you can come with me. You can come here and you have different kinds of clothes that you can wear and feel how you can come here and you have different kinds of clothes that you can wear and feel how you can transform yourself you can wear masks and wigs and pink what what is this new transformation you're coming to just because you talk about clothes i introduced this element i want to try this way I want to try this way. Because I think that's perfect for my sporty, colorful thing. Ah, that's a... I don't know how to wear it, but I will just try right? You can try it, there is other kind of clothes if you want. Here, you've got your comb. Shall I comb a little my hair? Yes. There is some hay in it. This is from Medusa. Where is so much hay in here? This is from Medusa. Because you, well that we are already here. Now we are not really going with the spiel of the how the game will unravel by itself but just it unravels like this when i'm here so what we can also do is you can call a spirit by rolling a dice oh that's that's a good idea so this is the spirit section so you can roll a dice both the dice pizza Die Geister-Sektion, also du kannst einen Stich drehen. Kann ich? Bitte! Kann ich zwei nehmen? Du musst zwei nehmen. Verdammt, was passiert jetzt? Was passiert? Dreier Barsch. Keine Ahnung, was Dreier Barsch bedeutet. Keine Ahnung was drei ein Barsch bedeutet. Barsch, ja. But I think it says something that it wasn't exactly, so it was a bit on the, you know. So you can take half of it. Let's keep six. It's easy. Make it weak. I think that's a good thing for us. No, I want that it's two threes, which is kind of more powerful because. We are calling the spirits already okay so what you can actually do is look for in this box you can look for the sheet of number six yeah yeah you look for the number six or you can go and find or you can go and find the QR code which takes you to audio files of each of the poetry oh so I have a microphone I'm sorry now you maybe you you have to do the uh the trial because should I should I summon something should Should I read you what it is? Yeah, please read it to me. I read it in English. Okay. Um, you have called upon Ada Lovelace and Heidi Lamarr. Ada Lovelace was a pioneer computer scientist and Heidi Lamarr was an innovator of Bluetooth. And she was a Jewish person and they both women were not appreciated completely of their uh inventions that they made so there is a poetry hi come here we are other lovelace the pioneer of computer science and heidi lamar the innovator who brought bluetooth to life Lamar the innovator who brought Bluetooth to life. From Victorian intellect to the glamour of Hollywood our brilliance transcends the boundaries of time and space. We are the dreamers in machines, the vision in the code, Ada's algorithms unseen, Heidi's signals flawed. Float. In a world that saw us not, we reached beyond the stars. In calculations finally wrought, we broke the chains and bars. From Victorian halls to silver screens, our genius casts its net, inventing futures unforeseen, in truth we can't forget innovate create and dare to build what others fear for every dream you boldly share brings tomorrow near that's beautiful and they ask a question how do their innovations or innovations inspire you to think beyond the present and create the future you desire and then you can go around again in the space look maybe there are some letters that mention it if you want more inspiration and like this the game keep unravels when i am there so i know what is where when i'm not there then depending on food you eat so there are three bowls of food or the food you do not eat and then you have in English and in German the welcome note that you read you read and then it goes to sweet, sour, savory. Which parts you take? I talk the nutty part. What is it? What do you call it? You call it sweet, sour, salty, savory. What is savory? Savory is like this mix of salt and... Picante, maybe? Picante, not really, but it's a bit of they're unsalted the nuts because i i grabbed to them because i wanted to pick salty yeah but then they weren't salted yeah so it's not so it was a whole disappointment for me so let's go for savory because salt is not your path today it's not my path today so i had a little bit of everything yeah but maybe this maybe this so savory is part number three and then we go here and you can pick a short game or a long game so let's go for a short one so there is the three shot it's in german there is English. Be hello. And we can find it always. Before we go on with the game, I really wanted to ask you if you're always here at this time, right? p.m. Wednesdays to Saturday I am here and it is open otherwise Monday to Friday as well from 9 to 3 p.m. but she works which is another on the name and we are with sharing the pop-up store is also promoting the education with women and they have their business mingle so we are sharing the pop-up store so it is actually open from 9 a.m to 9 p.m kind of monday to friday and saturday only 3 p.m to 9 p.m and i am there only wednesday to saturday 3 to 9 p.m because we don't always get the full funding funding i'm just asking i'm just asking because it feels to me that i really need you i really need you for all the things maybe i would have been lost without you in this place and didn't know what to do lost is a way to find a new path it's so nice i i came totally here to experience body things and now it's getting so spiritual right but if you want to experience a bit of body thing i mean maybe i tell you the the things that are there that you were asking is the letters we collected from the start and from city of Linz in Vienna we did events and you see mostly their responses like either start limbs even I'm 31 yeah the flowers by on only labor side so I are not read it now. But for example, I made a theater text out of this and we do all the artistic events like videos that you see or music or the curated evenings that we are doing this month. You see them as a translation of what we collected. So I mapped it. So habe ich es gemapert. Einer von ihnen sagt Amatorikpark. Amatorikpark. So what are we doing for that? And then I don't have the other one, but I remember. And it says, how does Linz smell? Somebody has written, it stinks a lot schlacht off and traffic and They also say we want an indoor Spielplatz for Kinder in Oka, Surukh But at the same time someone says that's that gets to feel a house lender in Eugen's and from But so when you map these you write to understand that everyone is just trying to complain and we are not really getting in dialogue with each other and this is the space you come and you realize that's why it feels too much it's like oh wow because it's a lot of information and then we try to map it here what you think can go for example trans is non-human lens schlecht clubs with that's why with ram Ram Tyler we collaborated to say if we get something about bars and clubs we inform. So like this within the city or cities you create a network with each other to understand hey you know maybe do this better and I don't think you need a social project for this, this should be humanity but since we have forgotten that um we need a space to start that dialogue and then this game and everything are different layers there are clay there are drawings so it's really getting into your participatory mode getting yourself reflected that's why no right or wrong there is always momentarily right or wrong, but it's not forever. And how do you deal with the others when I'm talking to you? And I play the next game. Yeah, you look so good. What happened now outside? I totally like Clemens' new style. Or Broncos. I don't know which identity you choose. Yeah, I feel very comfortable here. I feel really, I feel really calm and it's really nice place and it reminds me a bit of like collective storytelling in RPG games and stuff like that. I think that's a really interesting and exciting technique to get the story going. I think we should get the story going. We should get the story going. We should get the story going. I think this is our Stichwort. Yeah. Our story. Would you like to choose a number between 1 to 4? In my mind? No, you have to tell me. 3. 3. You? 4. 4. So, this one is number 3. And the number four. I like that my body is kind of noble. I like that my body is kind of noble. I like it. Hi. The answer, how are you? Life has sorrow. Sorrow has also pain. Pain has mother. Playful madness. And we... I am in that playfulness. Yeah. Because you talked about identity, that's why I play this game where it's written we or I. Are you talking about your different identities within you as I and switching between them? Or it's a collection of different identities that makes you as a whole, which makes you relate with other people? Exactly. Yeah, it's interesting. You can wear it there, you can wear it on there or you can make it a bonjour there so these poems we give out to people thank you please thanks jessica a lot because we experienced so much uh and now we're heading to the next space and i'm not sure if I'm already ready for it because now this has to sink in. You want to do a little 20 second dance with me? Yes maybe we should maybe we should do a dance. We do a 20 second dance and this is also the output for the Rashid just to know you can switch whatever you want to Zentrale or to Ellie's corner. I don't care. We dance a little with Chaska and say goodbye.
