Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! Ja super! want to get back to the question actually why ramen we still don't know ramen is nice okay i don't know i thought about the soundscape of ramen when you eat it like do you think it's like the noisiest yeah there are different notes with different uh liquid I mean it's so juicy like a soup but not like top three noise foods crisps but the super crunchy ones not like ramen second place or third I mean soup in general anything you can slurp but then also pasta because it has this like but only if you eat it has this like yeah but i'm not but only if you eat it like in a car noisy food like up the noisy food ramen like an instrument it's uh you can play ramen i mean chips chips yeah that's true ramen or hot hot tea no it's like you have to tea. You have to drink it like this. Because you cannot like chunk it, you know, so it's like if it's super hot. But what do you do for this? Do you like blow in the tea? Like a bit of the air? No, a lot. So my technique at the moment is I prepare the tea and then I try to do something else for the next few minutes. So, or I go to the bathroom or I clean the dishes. And then I know that when I come back, it's ready. But this is like it took a few years to all of like burning my tongue and to get it right. And now I'm like, I can safely drink tea. No one is interested in my... I'm saying it's a good skill. Also, I didn't know that what do you have like imagine that you do your dishes yeah maybe it's like you or anything or someone else it's like two people so it's take what what three three minutes two minutes to do the dishes for one person i don't know like this is also like five minutes if you're slow you're a professional though she's passing way faster than me um oh can ask AI, actually, also. Have you got animals? Have you got pets? No. I was thinking of getting hermit crabs. What? Hermit crabs. Sure? Yeah, put it on. It's because I was thinking of getting a pet. Any mammal is a lot of effort and they're expensive. What? But hermit crabs, you keep them in a terrarium. No water needed? A little water, yeah. What? But hermit crabs, you keep them in a terrarium. No water needed? A little water, yeah. But they're all, I think they're amphibian, bi-amphibian, I don't know, they're both on land and in water. And they're super cute. And they don't like bite you or something? Maybe, yeah. And you feed it, you keep it. Oh, okay. You can give it every... Okay, okay, okay. But like the animal person here is... Yeah. It's welcome. How's the bird? Yeah, I have ants and budgie birds and mealworms, algaes, but these are also tiny things. How many ants would you say you have in your... I mean, now 20. It's like... 20? How many ants would you say you have in your... I mean now 20. It's like at the beginning of colony getting grow. So they are reproducing? Yeah. I'm feeding with protein concentrate. So they become like buff? Eating well. Also my birds. I'm giving really good foods. What birds you have? Every morning. Budgie birds show us yeah just you know the most common and uh papagalini is like sorry for it's not a home bird but is it the ones that they always have to what this is so nice okay but are these the one that needs to be together the whole time nice okay but are these the one that needs to be together the whole time um not all time it's not like the this uh photos it's a it's not show the reality but uh what do you mean every time the this birds look so cute in photos but no are they noisy so noisy the rate is too high and how many times they shit during the day? I can't count it. But even flying, you know. They shit flying? Every time. In the cage or in the house? In the house. Everywhere. It's shit all over? I can't keep it in a cage. It's cruel. So you have shit everywhere in your house. Sometimes Yeah, more sunrise. I mean, the early morning, early morning, the birds really like to fly in home. And it's not the time today. It's not time to reading books. But I think I think you do this for fun, right? As a part of your practice, because as far as I know that also you work with animals a lot, right? I mean, I don't know. I think I'm not separating the art producing artwork to daily life. I think probably it support each other it's a real good I didn't think about it but yeah I mean it's the whole it's a lifestyle because I mean it's I don't want to say this it's so sounds so kitsch but art is it's a lifestyle it's a a lifestyle, yeah. But, yeah. I don't know. Do you want to show us one of our projects that's related to your work with animals somehow? Have you got anything in line? I can't show with animals now because it didn't end the result. But there is work with orchids. You know this yeah yes yes yes but i think it would be nice also if we if you show it to us yeah before we put that on i found this because we're talking about bird poop it's diapers for bird also what i saw, there are harness for these birds. If you want to travel with your bird out of home. So it doesn't shit around. No, it's sitting. It doesn't fly away. It's in the diaper. It's like a dog. Can we put on these budgie birds in the background? Can we have some louder? Sounds like ambience. So we should put some like, with green screen some like jungle background. Yeah somehow Yeah flying birds all over How likely see something for yeah, we want to see the the orchid the project with the orchid that's true This is what you see now Yeah, but keep keep it playing there in the in the background yeah yeah i think it's nice we are already getting to one two three four five six seven eight nine ten twelve tabs in such a few minutes wow archive sorry i went in my website sure yeah, yeah, yeah. What I will show... Ah, yeah, this. Yeah, you all know this. There is a... But yeah, I will tell. There is an orchid and it shares photo on Instagram when it needs water. And it's watering with the Instagram likes and the orchid survive in that way with the social media it's like a influencer and it's need likes for survive and it's adapting to algorithm of Instagram yeah how many likes does it receive like if weather is not so dry it can't share photo for a long time maybe I don't know it's it depends did you ever got viral? sorry not yet yeah maybe it. So it posts like selfies? Yeah, like a selfie. I like this idea so much. Can we show the Instagram? Yeah, I think there's also Instagram. Yeah, I can show. Just not open my DM. Reels. It's also talking about a nice idea with this, like influencers and how they feed from social media. Is this the first plant influencer? Yeah, somehow. I don't know, maybe. Yeah. Can we say it's the first plant influencer? I think so, right? We can. Yeah. So maybe are you aware of any other plant influencer? Is your plant influencer plant aware of other influencer plants? Maybe, I don't know. I remember a project. It was once done on a website and once by a different person on reddit uh where it's a live stream of a plant and people by interacting i think on twitch by writing a comment that says like slash water and then it would get water so the community was keeping the plant alive i think it was running for multiple years i'm maybe talking bullshit but it was very nice. So you need to be like a sort of programmer to interact, like knowing how to put like a command line to water it? No, no, there was an interface and everything, just like you say water and it's gonna water. Okay, that's nice. Just like a community garden, but digital. It was an Assetronica? No, because there was a similar project. Of course, yeah, yeah. You know it from the… The cyber garden, robot garden. Yeah, yeah. But it's really old. I think it's from 10 years or 12. But it had a robot arm. Yeah. Who made it? I don't remember. Number one fan in the comments. You, you, you… Thank you. You comment every single picture? Most. Whatever I saw on my feed, I was supporting. And you don't get paid for this. It's like your… I don't know. I don't know. I Most. Whatever I saw on my feed. And you don't get paid for this? I want the plant to be alive. So you comment. You're the only plant with this orchid. Talking about plants. He has plants in the house? You? Yeah, quite a few. 10? 10 plants? I have a bunch of very small. It's alright if you have more. Most of them are very small. I got them on Wilhaben. Like they just give you a cutting, you put it in water. Like the one with spikes? Cactuses? Cacti? Or like small i don't know no cake there okay i have one very big benjaminum ficus it's quite annoying because the leaves always fall down uh i know it yeah it has another name Should we show? Dragon fire. Is this the new one? Dragon fire plant. Because I know some plants in his house. I don't think it has that. Is it this one? No. It's so fancy. Let me show you. Okay. Have you ever been to the botanical garden? Yes. We went together. You've been there? Yeah. You know they have like flying around in the greenhouse? I've been with them, it was super nice. It's like being in an airport. The plants are going crazy. What's happening with the birds? Oh la la. There's like five of them. Yeah, they become a lot. So let's... Let's put on plant sounds. Plant sounds, please. Plant to relax and study to warm earth music for plants and those who love them plant ambience plant Asia yeah do you know the table of course you know you know Fantasia when they super good same time is it from the 80s no i guess amazing but this one is this one is a must okay yeah plants no plants i i don't know like i have a rosemary and it was dying also even the rosemary you know i have a small cactus which is also not from me but but it's still alive yeah because we never water it except maybe once in a year or something ah the cactus like this you know yeah i have one plant i feel like i'm playing like er with this plant because we we don't water for like a month and then it's dying and then last minute we save it we water it again so it's like make some more resilient last minute because every time lucia my flat when she's like no no the plant is dead and i'm like i'm going to give it give it a try and i water it for like three days and it comes back to life so it's like on this this is the sound right i think we have to that's the plant that's what it sounds like highly recommended I think we have to... That's the plant. That's what it sounds like. Highly recommended album by the way. It's nice. Yeah. Should we check how much time is left before the food comes? I'm so hungry. I only had two Christmas today. Which one? Yeah. Yeah. Le Ferrando. What left? 45 minutes. Yeah. It's coming closer actually. But anyway... It's very close. We're going to be hungry. Yeah. Hungry. Hungry. Hungry. Hungry. Hungry. yeah it's coming closer actually yeah but anyway it's very slow we're gonna be angry yeah yeah how you pronounce angry hungry angry angry that's the one i have in my place like it's also this size it's quite big and you know how many times you water it very rarely maybe twice a month maximum twice a month but now it was in winter i got it so you don't have to water it all basically. It's like sleeping. It's quite resilient. Yes. Easy plant to take care of. Okay. Should we talk... So we were talking about Vulcan projects. Can we talk about my favorite one? Please. The Sancti interface one. Ah, the mouse. Yeah, the mouse. This was nice actually. Do you have that online? Do you have pictures from this? Or do you want to tell us about it? I was sad actually because I only saw it before it was done. And this day it was working. So I came late. I saw it afterwards. They never showed you the video of when they were taking the rock. was working so I was not there but he came late he saw afterwards they never showed you the video of when they were like taking the rock this is a line it's the video online can we show yeah maybe you do you want to say about about this picture photo is perfect yeah it's a man also you can say something about it we came out together with a collaboration we carried together and uh it was just a process for me then result i didn't work i didn't do any work like 99 process it was like i was it was um my fault I was not in the exhibition I saw it was so fun but yeah in the process we went to mine and in the winter with the summer tires I'm not sure is it legal we carried the rock and we paid to excavator driver for can Vi kjøpte rakken og betalte til ekskursøveren for at vi kunne ta rakken til en bakoverkastning, og etter en bakoverkastning til Nissan Micra, og etter Nissan Micra til Atelier. Hvor mye betaler du? Traktøyren. Det var ca. 10 euro. Wow, vi gjør dette for realitet. Vi snakker om to bier. like 10 years. We talk about two years. Okay but what's the idea exactly like behind this rock or this interface that you designed? I mean the exhibition, the Sank interface and yeah the interface I see people like to play with the mouse and keyboards early interface and I just want to play with the mouse. How did you decide for like the mine what you were going to source the the lot from? I checked the I asked chat gpt first and after I checked on the internet Austrian mines of Austria. Can chat gpt tell you what to go for to like mining sites? If it knows about it? I don't know. I mean I asked the popular mines in Austria. Because you know what I thought it's interesting thing mines have a touristic part also and there are trucks just for traveling the tourists in the mining area and yeah if mine is popular you can reach more easily to how you say the excavation person for talking and the relation the department of public relations yeah because they're used to people visiting yeah so you found them and you were like, I need a bigger rock and they said come over. No, I sent them mail and I say exactly this. Yeah, I need a rock around 200 kilogram and I will use it for an exhibition. How long did it take to drive there? Do you remember? One and a half hours. Do you remember? One and a half hours, I think. I mean, he drives. It was such an adventure. Because I didn't have my winter tires because I didn't expect to be driving outside of Linds. And we just typed it in Google Maps and it was sending us, because there's like this pole mountain range in between. It was sending us straight through the mountains. I thought there's like a tunnel or something or it goes around, but it was literally at some point we were on a normal street and it goes up to the right. No more service or anything. It's just snow and ice on the road. There's a thing that says no GPS up ahead, no trucks allowed. What? I mean, there are some signs. It's so clean, you can't reach... But because it's only for the minors. I mean, it's for people that have actual winter tires and like Austrians that know how to traverse the Austrian mountains. But we go up there we're like okay we're gonna try. You're from Frankfurt right? Yeah. You're from Frankfurt? Not the city, small village. What's the name? Kirchhofen. Kirchhofen, how many people? 700. 700? But then there's like a town next to it which has like 14,000 and there's a few more towns which have like 100,000. And then after an hour of more towns, there's Frankfurt. Your village, how many people? I think 100,000. It's not a village. It's not a village. How many people is your village? How many you mean? Your village To be honest, I don't know How many we talking? I think it's a lot Like, Cairo have like 8.5 or 9 million Like London? Yeah It's a big city My village 8,000 It's more than 10 million On Miral This is the Great Cairo Yeah, it's a big city. My village 8,000. It's more than 10 million. This is the great Cairo. And great Cairo, which is combined Cairo and Gizeh. And together they are plus 22 million. So 22 million is together. But how far are Cairo and Gizeh? They are just like, you can like here, like you cross that bridge on a river and then you are already on the other side phone Yeah, the food is here. The food is here Nearly how long can you ask? Should we go by the window and the excitement in the room? More do I look like so bad to bad a bit when with the long hair No, my mom was saying that I look a little bit like Roberto Baggio. Not an Italian football player, Roberto Baggio. Google. Andrea is really committed about this. Hello! TorfTV? How's it going? Good? Amazing, thank you. Dankeschön. Hey, it's here! Amazing. What's your name? My name? Yeah. Dasbier. Amazing. Dasbier. Dasbier. Nice to meet you. We got it. Receipt. We're filming a TV show. Have we got 2 euros for our beloved delivery guy? Not on my laptop? Should we put the laptop in the side? Should we close the laptop for a bit? Yeah, okay. Maybe you can put it somewhere else or something. Yeah, the music is still on, but we can keep the... You want me to put it down? Yeah, okay, move this. We got a coke. For free? Yes. For real? Oh wow, so much food. This is the dog. Oh, okay. So I think this looks like a really nice collection. It's from Tim's suggestion. Damn. I like the view from here. So nice. But it's not duck only. There's like so much other... We have beef and duck. This is beef. And these are the... It is duck? Yes. And that's the stock that goes into it. What? Put it inside anyway. Is it going to pee again? No, you did it already. I throw the package. We recorded everything, right? Could you hear the pee signal? No. Because it was too far? Yes. But we only have two sets of chopsticks. Oh, shit. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. no because he was too far but we only have two sets of chopsticks oh shit I make sorry was dirty you gotta share everyone has one actually that's true this would be like you know adventurous way of like tasting the Roman for the first time I mean forks or things like this, but I'm sure it's not Maybe let's see you in the more. Was there anything in the bag not to step on my laptop. Yeah, no Okay on my laptop yeah no it's not in the bags okay okay okay so there's a lot of nice things how do you drink this you put it in here this is full i look like so ignorant no it should actually work usually you have it in the restaurant yeah in the restaurant together Yeah, in the restaurant with this together. Yeah. Confusing. Yeah. And I'm burning my hand like crazy. How about we take turns eating? Yeah, this is grab from I see. There are a few but there's no we only have to eat with chopsticks. I was gonna be funny because I'm so bad? We can get some stuff from AC. I mean, I don't know, do we have chopsticks in AC? We have chopsticks and cutlery and stuff. Okay. Should we go up? Should we go to AC to get the forks and stuff? Is it okay? Can we go get forks from our department? This is easy. Can we go in the department upstairs? Or is it too long? No? Okay, we eat like this. But we go in the department upstairs or is it too long no okay we eat like this but we only only have two yes so okay so let's do like this so it's two for you and then yeah everyone can have a nice idea actually they respect you and now we have four you need you see can you do it like this yeah be funny this time. It's gonna be such a mess. Look at this. Like, just come out to... I think I'll do it like this. One? I can manage it. Yeah? Alright. Let's do this. Just really small. You have to... You think I can manage with this? I cannot even manage with the long ones. It's not too hard. It's not too hard. This is the new thing, you know? You will know now. Oh man. Oh man. Okay. This is actually... Yes. Open this to open this guys yeah please go for it if you want to taste some she's like in the back of the thing so ah ah ah we need to cover it through yes there's some here no we have oh la la we need to come we need to post prod everything should we put the prosecco as well or we keep it after the um as long as we get some sure but it's okay okay okay yeah you can guys open it actually no please please please throw it okay okay we have to uh mask everything it's almost like uh this looks good we put it here as well it fits perfectly yeah the branding works well okay so we can we can start what we should start with you had the idea of this order, right? Yes. Okay, so tell us. Dig in, I don't know. Just you, just do it. I cannot, my nails are not long enough to get the sticker out. And this is a real challenge. Yeah, with the small one, yeah. Alright, so this is beef pho. I will put the soy sauce, do you have an idea? In here? Maybe you can just put it on it. You can also train on the pretzels as well. That is perfect. It tastes really good. Want to try? You guys want to try with us? Rita? Okay, just a challenge a bit. But you... This is how we are doing it. Yeah, try it. This is so nice. You want to try? If I bring it to you? No. But you want to try something else? No? I think you are missing a lot here. We have no tissues? Yeah. Where can we put the soy sauce? There's no tissues also. You know the shore, it's dry. It's like this. You have to... She's bringing me a tissue. Thank you. Amore. I've put the soy sauce in here. Okay. We can have something to dip. Into some soy sauce. Man this is like really a challenge to eat with this small stick. What do you mean? This is easy. Okay. Yeah, true. And also it's fun on the ground. This is easy. Okay. Yeah, true. And also it's fun on the ground. Let me do some more tissues. Actually, do you have more? Only one. One boy from one tissue. Wait, this is the ratio. Okay. I'm sorry guys. I know you want but this is out. We're fighting like this So you should not be get the biggest sushi fun. Yeah, okay Hey, can I bring it with my hands or is it? Easy I don't know what we're using to even right? No, well put it in my mouth Real bad. Oh in right yeah well put it in my mouth man it's breaking and I mmm I'm breaking it okay this is a nice idea actually with what's the name of it again man I'm so bad bro so bad bro no I didn't expect that yeah but then like until now while we're having sushi I didn't expect that yeah but then I didn't also like until now while we're having sushi we didn't complete this story until now you know because you just thought about this there's no reasoning yeah okay make sense a lot of this oh my god the quality is like 80 euros well spent thanks Dorf it's good yeah so good shit okay but I don't know for me like I was already in love going back to the the rock mouse I was already in love with like what you did but after I saw the video it's like the backstory made me fall in love even more we have to see this video actually right after after the food yeah okay can we get a reminder from the studio watch the video of the like how did we how did they source the the rock i think you exceed your bills already you cannot ask for anything more who is this the dwarf cola this is the of course yeah yeah there's three spring rolls i'm taking The Dorf Cola? This Dorf Cola that you... Yeah. Just three spring rolls and taking one. So we talked about work and artworks. Now it's your moment to shine. I would also have to show visually I think. You need to tell first. You need to be a salesman. That's a good challenge. Because I was thinking what if they asked me and I would just think I'm not gonna say anything I just show my work on the screen. Yeah that's true I think your work has to be shown on the screen. Is it visual mainly? Yeah it's visual I mean I started painting I started making stuff with painting. For real? I used painting. I started making stuff with painting. For real? I used to. What was your first painting? What did you paint at the first time? I'm really interested in it. Actually, still, the first stuff I've done was paint landscapes, but very bad. Then a lot of different stuff. I was trying to be as surreal as to do crazy stuff. But this was when I was like 14, 15. In high school? Yeah. You studied art? No. It's just general high school. Okay. No specific art stuff? No. Is it like you have no specific specific because in Italy we have to? I have the bachelor like after my high school then I took the bachelor. What did you do? Fine art so then I was really into painting so I thought okay I'm gonna figure this out in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands? Yeah I don't know why. It's like also choosing the wrong way. Bring me a beach. To be able to smoke weed legally. Yeah. Okay. That you studied art. So you get free with this. Yeah, of course. And now in Germany. For real? Since when? First of April. It was like a joke. No, no, no. The government being like, yeah, we're going to legalize weed that day. Okay. 420 on the first of April. Man, I cannot, I'm not able to eat it. There's no forks. There's no forks. Okay, let's go back to the bachelor. Yeah. So I didn't want to study in Germany. Okay. How do I do this? Yeah, laughing your ass off. Okay. I'm exposing myself here, sorry. I hear the conversation. This is actually, this is I know about you, Till, that you had your bachelor in Netherlands. And I think afterwards you shifted your practice from painting to visual environments, if I can say, right? Mm-hmm. So, I don't know if it's rude to speak with a full mouth but I feel like for the concept of the show it makes sense. So I was painting a lot in the Netherlands and then throughout the study of each year I was experimenting more. I was doing a bunch of performances and installations. Like what? I did these paintings, very cute and small. Then I would make a video of myself throwing gesso on them, like the white cover paint inspired by the monks that do the mandalas of the sand. And then afterwards I just blow it all away. And that's one thing. And then I got more and more into projectors. I was playing around making installations where I have like a projector on the floor pointing upwards with a mirror floating above, hung from the thing that makes the disco ball rotate. So the mirror was rotating at an angle, so the projection was going all around the room, it was like the center piece. Okay. And the projection would also turn, of course, in a circle, because the projector itself was turning. But were they turning at the same time? No, it's like the projection goes up, boom, boom, and as this goes, the projection would go in a circle circle you know this very you can see a video you have videos of these things or like pictures maybe on Instagram yeah I might have archived it can I yeah we can actually like this was my first thing that wasn't really like wow what's eating music? Chinese restaurant. Yeah, true. Maybe like the, you know, this music that they put in the restaurant, then a music in the background. Super. So that was my ex-girlfriend just walking in a circle around me. I know how the mirror turns, but I don't know how the projector turns. The projector doesn't turn. The projector is on the same spot underneath the mirror turns, but I don't know how the projector turns the projector doesn't turn the projector is on the same spot Damn Have you ever seen like what is like a B. Oh B. B. Y. Oh B. Bring your own beamer No Use the same like a joke so yeah bring your own beamer is this like thing that rafael rosendahl net artist you love him i listened to his podcast good point yes you know it it's over now it's because he's done he's doing like painting in his uh flat in new york yeah but they're still doing it no no no it's they stopped in the last episode they they say they're still doing it. No, no, no. They stopped. In the last episode they say they're taking a hiatus. I was so sad because it's the only podcast I listen to. So BYOB is this event, so cool, basically where visual artists, net artists, video artists meet. And they have to bring their own projector. It's so nice actually. BYOB bring their own projector bring your own projector It being so hard to eat makes it nice. Can you see this one? Yeah And so basically yeah everyone project like their Their artwork on the a bit a bit I mean it's new media It's so cool no okay but do you want to show us like the website because you said like you want to show the website this is where you let me continue the journey yeah how do I eat this for real this is the rechallenge yeah so like the the the noodle the rice noodles they're also discussing about this but you can't should we can bring the laptop here guess right yeah like giving a presentation yeah this is so nice actually if it's like the the arts electronica meeting yeah we do meeting weekly meeting. Please, go. But you will not give a feedback, don't worry. No feedback. Yeah. So here I was, I recorded a few hours of footage from my balcony of the sky and I painted this landscape that I see from my hometown when I look out the window. So it's the village across the valley, it's quite beautiful. And then I projected that cloud footage. Like here it's sped up, but in the real installation you see it going very slow, like real time. Yeah, yeah. And you paint this, and you project the cloud over it. Wow, okay. It's called the... What's it? The sky is always clear above the clouds. Wow, that's so nice. Yeah. And a bunch more like this, experimentations. The sky is always clear above the clouds And a bunch more like this Okay, this is so good actually, can you can you show me this picture? The one with the thunderstorm or the black lightning? We were exhibit exhibited this in the group show and then we put just random YouTube videos on top and this is a screen No, it's a painting and he projected over it. What? Yes, it's so cool actually. It's so cool. It's cool for real. It's not like staged reaction. It's actually cool as fuck. Not even the rest of your reaction is staged. It's repeating. But this one is like wow, okay. How the f... Are you projecting? Is it like a white canvas and you project everything? No. Let me show you again. The canvas itself is like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It's like a white canvas. It it like a white canvas and you project everything? No, let me show you again. The canvas itself is just this. That is such a cool idea. Here and then, like there could be of course anything projected on top. So nice. And did you do like the projection mapping? No, I didn't know how to do projection mapping. My school was really bad with anything new media. Like we had one where people were playing around with Arduino. Not department, but professor was into that. But even he was not able to help me with anything. So what I did, I put the projector sideways. And I put tape on the lens. And the guy from the photography studio that he then saw the exhibition he was like what the fuck are you doing with my projector and I would hang them up from the ceiling and put a bunch of cardboard in front to make it fit. It was always lucky coincidences that these things were somehow fitting. Also here. But this is so nice that you make this mask by yourself and you also here but this so nice that you make this mask by yourself and you Make it basically what will be done in a software, but yourself Your all works using landscape it's so nice. It's like if you see all your artworks, it's Something like telling the story like landscapes on the road maybe it's completing each other all your works nice thank you yeah i don't know like landscape i don't know so nice and your And your Ars Electronica... Your work exhibit in Ars Electronica, it was landscape in the window. I actually did not make that on my website. Is it good like this? You didn't upload it yet? Yeah, I have always these themes. Landscapes, recursion, and digital stuff. And now AI somehow at some point I just did this where I projected the projector so okay like a just a projection feedback loop should we make the music lower a bit maybe is it too is it too loud the music okay let me show i don't know i mean i would like to know how this journey started from this painting only and then makes media which is painting with some projection level something and then how it comes to what are you doing now yeah because of this I asked what was your first painting? did you start to painting with landscape or you know the academic things you need to do portraits and you need to do yeah I think I have on my website some older stuff do you want your foo with you? it's nice right? not on my laptop guys if you want the the food with you Till Oh no I will come up with something again Nooo Ok Till Sorry It's clean Should we open this? I think it's time for everyone It's time for everyone Do we drink from the bottle? There is also some glasses. Yeah. So they already have... Should we take more? Where do we take them from? From the other... The other studio. The other studio. Should we take more? Should we, more? Two cap? One for you. I like this idea. First for Rita, you want? It's really smart and nice actually. First our crew. Rita. our crew So, hello everyone It's me Ahmed, Andrea We are here today with Phil Volkan Kunslas from Kunst-Uni, Interface Culture Germany and Volkan, Turkey You are from Italy and you are from Egypt Deutschland, Volkern, Türkei. Du bist aus Italien. Und du bist aus Ägypten. Richtig. Es art is not like something, it's a lifestyle. It's a lifestyle, exactly. When he said it, I was like, yeah. Thank you very much for inviting me. Yeah, thanks to Dovtyva. Yeah, thanks for Dovtyva. That's for sure for the food. For getting us a free dinner. I just like this stuff. It doesn't happen that often. So I enjoy it. The thing that triggered me, because when you did the presentation like a week ago or something, you showed that you can power a circuit with like a potato. Yeah. For real. Me and Hamet were triggered and we were making like, you know, like the last row in the bus, the noisy kids. There was me and Hammed behind Manuela talking about the potato electricity. This was really interesting. What is he going to talk to me about? Should we show the video of the electric potato? But it's common knowledge that you can make a potato there. No. In primary school. They never showed me that I can make a Kartoffenergie. Kartoffenergie? Kartoff is like a company or a new startup. It was like what you showed in this interface where you're meeting from Assektronika, that it was like coming out with this AI complex machine learning whatever, you know, projects, and then he was showing this... A potato. and we were like it's like clickbait you know and it's also like really funny because like not funny but i mean also like interesting that this um combination between like a potato making electricity which is power AI. So it's funny to be honest. How you can make it like more complex. Yeah I think this is the key factor of nowadays how to make an interesting ass electronics project. Using potatoes. Take something. AI. I mean they can't go in that direction to be honest yeah yeah yeah you invited me over for dinner at your place and you did like the chicken broth yeah yeah chicken soup amazing and he checked the recipe on on chagi dp yeah I was like yeah it was the first time I see someone pulling out the recipe I mean, I know I knew you can do it but like actually being used in a like from friends from people, you know And it was good, huh? I think so But now for nearly every recipe I use Yeah From you before I think I can trust GPT to give me recipe to make a bread Okay, which is like like for baking you have to be very very specific. So common everyone knows this But I use Angela usually for because like I FaceTime her and then I ask like that I see before the Chinese New York You with the soy sauce and like FaceTime does me in the kitchen with my hair like like this oh baby what do i put in there usually this is the situation doing something complex analog intelligence real intelligence and you what do you think about the eye from this point What do you think about AI from this point? I'm more pessimistic than... We've talked about this. We talked about it. We're the opposite. You think about like Skynet? I don't have too much idea. I'm not into AI stuff too much. You know, I'm working with more low-level electronics and biomaterials, something like this. I didn't use AI before for my any artwork. I just use chat GPT. And I don't know. But I really like to listen something about it. I think it's the classic question, right? What do you think about AI? I don't know. I was not really ever asked what's AI like if you understand what's AI or something like this? I never got into it. And then I understood that it could code. So I tried to make like some HTML sketches. And then I made my whole, my website through ChagDP. And it was such an experience. Like I was coding with ChagDP for like four days straight to design it. And it was like, I was hooked up. Like crazy. I was like, oh damn, this shit knows how to code. I was like I was hooked up like crazy I was like oh damn this shit needs like knows how to code I was like wow because like if it was image generation I was like it looks like some bad art just like text I was like but the code it was like I can talk in human language and it answers me in like machine language that for me was like the turning point what's like the craziest what's like the craziest experience you had with HHCP? Something that really surprised you? I was making the interface for the avatar thing that I was working on. You can interact with it by speaking. The system is just you speak, it gets sent to the voice to text, the text gets sent to the OpenAI API, and then you get the response, which gets sent through the text to speech. And usually it takes like half a minute if it's a long reply. But once I was saying like, oh, you dumb bitch AI or something. And within seconds it responded, shut up. And I was like, what the fuck? I was super scared because I gave it all of the instructions of what it should be able to do. And I did tell it to be direct and snarky and not acting like an assistant. But it came so quickly that it really took me off guard. And I'm like, whoa. You got scared a bit? A little bit. But then another thing, I mean this was just me getting surprised, but if you use speech to text but you don't have any actual speech, it will hallucinate up words and it's always the same. If there's nothing and it's short it will say you and sometimes it says thanks for watching okay oftentimes it's a korean news broadcaster for some reason okay yeah yeah yeah and it's super surreal we can maybe try it out even yeah you what i'm afraid of the super my computer guys yeah this is scary wonk.orgs So you have a microphone? 4000 better have a microphone. Yeah, better. Yeah, somehow that's true. Okay, now send to... might not work the first time. If we send a signal that's not saying anything, it might start to hallucinate. Let's reload the page to see. I don't like this music at all. It's trash. I have to change that. Is it working? Can you open your album? That I did? Yeah. Okay, I got something. What may I release then? It's impossible to eat. I know. I know. I know. What I did? Yeah. Okay, okay, I got something. Oh my, I released it. It's impossible to eat. I know! I know, we have to heat up the stuff after, because like... Yeah. I'm like, what do I play? But when you are leaving this system, it starts to hallucinate, as you said, right? This is... Exactly, so it gets really weird responses. The AI hallucinating. Yeah. It's not necessarily creepy, but it's super fascinating. I think it's already interesting to be honest how AI evolved. How do we get back to... Okay. Yeah. But it's not connecting to the websock right now. Is it a problem with the server? Yeah, it's really bad. The backend. Are you still working on it? Mm-hmm. Okay. Should be easy, but I'm new. Do you work on it weekly? At the moment? At the moment, yeah. Very easy. Like on it weekly? At the moment? At the moment, yeah. But I'm very lazy. But do you usually active when it comes to your artworks? Like you work on it constantly and like you just, I mean what's your style? Are you like last minute? Yeah. I'm very last minute. Yeah, okay. But I'm also very, like sometimes I'm disciplined for half a, but I'm also very... Like, sometimes I'm disciplined for half a week, and then I don't do anything for a week, and then I do... Then I work for 12 hours a day until 5 in the morning, and then I finish the piece, you know? So it's very undisciplined. Can we talk about your project, like, what you're working on? Because I think it's pretty cool. Yeah. The... Punching Wall. The Punching Wall? Yeah, please. Can we talk about your project, what you're working on? Because I think it's pretty cool. Yeah. The punching wall. The punching wall? Yeah, please. I would like to talk about it, but I would like also to keep the space for the guys. For the guys? Come on. You haven't talked about a single project. Yeah, because I think it's pretty cool. Huh? But you know what it consists of? Yeah, I think my project is different different than Till's project for example, like AI is not like... Or maybe it's like... No? It's perfect together maybe, this is what I think. It's very anti-AI. Yes, anti-machine. And also like his project also is trying to be like more human, not machine. Yeah, but they're both passive aggressive, like... Yeah. But should we say what it consists of? Yeah, sure. You want me to tell you? It's your project. So I have a small idea. Making this wall consist of small robotic arms that start to punch randomly. Sometimes they respond to you, sometimes not. So the machine or the installation have the mood or the agency to decide what to do you know like whether you it works whether it not so it's like a piece of fabric piece of fabric basically yes and behind this fabric there's punching arms moving so when you don't expect there's like something which is like coming out yeah it's something it's also like was presenting for me this idea of like things that trying to grab your attention all the time like artworks in exhibitions they're all of them try to catch you at 10 in this one I think it does if you manage to do it properly think it's quite like yeah it's like hey like here I'm an installation whatever so it was also funny this feeling that you fear I felt in last hours electronica it was really overwhelming you know there's like artworks artworks artworks artworks it's like it's crazy like a flea market or something there's a lot of jeans in the same row and you don't know which one thank you you cannot digest yeah exactly there's no and there was no enough places to have a rest or something. You have to go outside. Then to travel inside the city, you lose the interest about art at some point. Or you go into one of those artworks where it tells you to go inside of a tent and meditate. Yeah, this was a nice idea. Someone provided an art project, an Ars Electrononica and I think they make the made like a tent and you can meditate inside distant or like watch videos that on a loop and it's like somehow like the legs was it by a colleague of ours no no it was I think from another university not from Constantine okay no no yeah and you liked it it was perfect among in between all of this like chaotic or not like cloud or like this like much interaction this was like just relaxed have you ever guys means was leaping concert no never no I did it once it was it was in Verona actually well I'm jealous from it was from like we went there at like 10 or 11 p.m. We stayed till like 7 in the morning. You have like someone is playing usually like ambient some like calm stuff and you're like a whole night there just like chilling sleeping. I couldn't really sleep because it was kind of... There are so many people in there we are not used to this kind of situation and you're also like your brain is like oh I'm not really supposed to everybody wear pajamas if you wanted I wasn't I think I don't know I remember this musician I suggested Donato e Piro we're good never had a sleeping cause we should do one here now yeah I think we do like a sleeping episode everybody just sleeps five hours of stream class like the i feel like the the the the like the the the the sack where you sleep how do you call it the camping uh huh i'm sleeping it's so easy English yeah but we do we like live I think would be even like like a cam girl website but it's actually us in pajamas in sleeping bags we can put a screen in the middle of fire tokens and we like we was nor more it is not a lotore a lot with every DovTV donation we make a sound that's like a gain knob for the snoring do you snore? no sometimes depends when I drink you're a snorer come on half but yeah this it's some position what you know, some position. Or what is your snoring position? Like... You sleep like this? No, if I sleep like this, I'm snoring. Who sleeps like this? This is like what people think people sleep like, you know? It's like... It's comfortable. And the dreams. Yeah, the dreams. If you have to, like, depict someone sleeping, it's like... But comfortable and the dreams yeah the dreams is like if you have to like depict someone sleeping it's like yeah but no one sleeps like this like have you ever seen anyone like sleeping like this no really in this position i mean it's super comfortable but did you do yeah sometimes damn i sleep like that okay yeah like this nice yeah I sleep like that. Like this nice. Like with your side like this? Yeah, I have picture like this to be honest in the train. Leber sleep. Yeah, I have a picture. And this is for sitting down sleeping. I fall asleep. You remember in Venice? I was like... Like the you remember in Venice I was like like the grandpa in front of the TV Should we try to get out from the window as and we ask you to say to yeah to the window Okay, I think we are Yeah, I need to leave some stuff. Wait, we have to leave the mics, I guess, because it's not ours. Yeah. No, but we're gonna come back and get our stuff. I leave it on. Okay, let me put some stuff on the table. I hope I don't break the stuff. It's just for the show. Yeah, okay. So we still can have it, actually. That's so nice from you. But it's a bit tall, though. It's a bit high. Tall, what the fuck am I saying? Yeah. Thanks for... Hm? Yeah? No, we don't, we cannot go out? No, they will close behind us and we cannot be inside again forever, you know? You say ciao, you say ciao to... Okay, let's... Three? Ciao, thank you for having me. Bye bye! Thank you so much. Danke schön for this invitation. So it's not at all Thank you so much Dorf TV It was nice. Ciao mama. Andrea come the show ended. Okay It's an upcoming Am I dropping this? Yeah Let's go for it Coming
