Sanaz Rafi'i. Sanaz Rafi'i. Sanaz? Sanaz, yes. Sanaz Rafi'i. Yes, Sanaz Rafi'i. And she will tell us about her work. Yes. The work is an interactive video installation. The title is Will You Walk With Me? And this is a black box that I built and it's located in the ground floor of the Art University and the piece is there are two parts there is the kind of archive from the videos throughout the history with more focus on Iran about the happenings especially from the last September in Iran, with the death of Masa Amini and the big demonstration that happened. And now we are also again in September, which is the anniversary of all the happenings that happened last year. And the piece is about an interaction with the audience. And for me myself it started in this way that last year with all these demonstrations and happening that happened in Iran back home I was physically I was in Austria but mentally I was not here and it affected me a lot and also a lot of other Iranian people here and I was thinking how to develop a work because I felt that for me that I'm coming from there I have this strong connection but for people from other nations like outside of Iran they maybe they cannot connect in the same sense that we are connecting to the happenings that are going on. So I developed this piece in order to make, and it's also a challenge for me myself, but to make a kind of interaction with the audience and trying to find out if it's possible to make this inner connection between people. So I collected these video pieces and then the audience when they go, when they come one by one, they come inside this black box. So I make them separate from the outside inside this black box and they go inside and there's some instruction that they see the videos and then I ask them two questions mainly after a while like one two minutes then they see a question it's what do you see and after a while again they see another question and it is what do you feel and they type it in the second keyboard here their answer and the answer also will be shown in this monitor and the monitor which is outside the black box just located to the next to the black box, then they see the answer. But the person that is inside is typing and the other audience which they are passing by they just see the answers from the people that are isolated and they're inside the box. Do they type it or they speak? They type it. They type it and there's instruction here, both in German and English, and they start the video here with the instruction and they see the question and they type their answer in the second keyboard. That's what do they see, what do they feel, and then at the end of the festival there will be an archive from the answers of all the people. then I also research about it I collect their answers to see if I was successful kind of to make this inner connection between people and the videos are yeah there are like the most extreme scenes from Iran and many other countries that the human crisis is happening. And for me myself also was from the other countries it was interesting for me myself if I can make the connection to other people. For example in Venezuela, in Colombia, also like before in the history like different also time gaps in history and time periods and then also now but the whole thing that you see from the war from the revolutions from the demonstrations it's like mainly basically you see that people are healing each other people are fighting with each other and like in a bigger picture you can see it but for me myself it was so much the main work was this connection that if we can connect to each other if we can feel each other what is happening and especially with the all the things for me happened like from last year and especially now it's very important it's again September it's the anniversary of Masa Amini in a few days in 16th September and I again feel this you know intense feelings about everything that is going on back home and then I developed this piece based on all this stuff. How is this piece titled? stuff it's will you walk with me it's a question will you walk with me it's the title of the the tag is there outside the box And then you see the videos. It's like every video is and also from the Iranian channels, Telegram channels. But it's all the archive and also from Iran, it's all from the channels that we have, that we share the videos. Ah, you need the microphone? Yeah, yeah, yeah. SSCLA! SSCLA! And then here you can pause and then here you can write like what do you see. And if you don't feel like to write then you can again like continue. Oh okay, now I continue. Norske Råd The engine is powered by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Thank you.
